After defeating Grendel, Grendel's mother came in vengeance for the death of her son. I bravely swam to the bottom of the ocean and defeated her by slicing her neck, leaving her lifeless body on the ocean floor.

Though this was the last fight I would encounter, I continued to show extreme epic hero characteristics throughout this battle. After the dragon came to Geatland and destroyed almost everything in sight, my loyal companion Wiglaf and I traveled to the dragon’s lair and rid the dragon of its life.

I am a great warrior and king who shows extremely loyalty to my people. I believe I am an excellent fit for this job given that I am highly educated in all areas of kingship and battle. With this job, I would to the best of my abilities slay the horrible creature while also keeping the people of the village protected. Though some people doubt my hard work ethic and bravery, I would be sure to defame any false rumors that show any signs of weakness in me. In times of need, I am wise, strong, willing, brave, courageous, and quick to fight no matter the circumstances.
