• Consistent babysitter/nanny for over 10 families all over the valley for going on 7 years in which I have cared for children ages 4 months-14 years.
• Communicated positively with children and guardians and received the majority of my jobs through word of mouth/recommendations.
• Various duties based on family needs and children’s ages, but basic duties include but are not limited to getting children ready, transportation to school/activities, engaging in fun and educational activities, helping complete homework/other tasks and responsibilities per child’s needs, and completing bedtime routine which fits the needs of each family.
• Ability to maintain a safe and supportive environment for each child as well as keeping the space clean and organized by completing basic household tasks which encompass the needs of each family.
• Always include activities such as arts and crafts, puzzles, going to the park, and musical activities.
• Extensive experience with overnight care for multiple families.

• Worked as a camp counselor/assistant director for various summer camps/spring break camps ranging from 1 week to 3 weeks for children ages 5-12.

• Responsibilities included sign in and sign out everyday, snacktime, engaging children in activities and games, and encouraging participation and interaction between the campers.

• Enforced camp rules and structure by keeping the campers in line and handling conflict and any potential emergencies and parental contact if needed.

• First aid responsibilities- handled any medication or treatment if a child became sick or injured.

• Volunteered as a helper in both a daycare classroom and kindergarten classroom

• The daycare was at a Montessori school which is no longer in business, but responsibilities included playing with the children (ages 2-4) before nap time, assisting in putting them down for a nap, and helping with cleaning duties.

• Kindergarten helper included helping with lessons, passing out papers, supervising during recess time, and taking children to the bathroom.
