HOSA- In highschool, I took part in the HOSA club, which focuses mainly on high schoolers that are looking to go into the medical field. We set up many events such as the school blood drive and raised money to go to local clinics. Being apart of this club brought me so much joy and gave me information that will be carried into the jobs I’m employed to.
RAK- “Random Acts of Kindness” club in Highschool that focused on leaving acts of kindness around the school to brighten anyone’s day. A few examples of what we did were leaving sticky notes on the bathroom mirrors with nice messages on them or baking cookies for the local fire department. The morals and actions of this club were something I’ve always believed in, so being apart of RAK was super special to me.
Johnston Varsity Dance Team- I was a captain on the Johnston dance team for 2 years and was on the team for all 4 years. This team taught me so much- from resilience to discipline. I’ve learned so many skills that will apply to every real life situation.
