I am an efficient team member with experience as a shift manager in fast-paced and challenging environments. I am highly experienced with 4-5 years of customer service in the hospitality industry. Which comes with being a very fast learner and multi-tasker who is eager to learn new and exciting tasks and jobs. I provide excellent customer service by greeting the guests and taking orders and payments on the register by using my knowledge about the menu. Other positions include being on expo in which I package menu items into bags or trays all while communicating with the kitchen about the orders in a fast paced environment. Throughout the shift I help the food preparation area, equipment, and utensils clean and sanitary by following the instructed ServSafe training.
I greeted customers kindly upon arrival and provided a friendly and warm presence throughout their experience. As well by answering customer questions about hours, seating wait times, and menu information. I handled cash when working on the register by checking out the guests with in store and to go over the phone orders. I interacted with the servers, and bussers to create a constant flow of movement and to eliminate confusion.
I maintained thorough menu knowledge to sufficiently answer questions regarding menu item sourcing, ingredients and other methods. I used communication and problem-solving skills to resolve customer complaints. I maintained order efficiency and accuracy through clear communication with staff, also while leading my employees/crew. I opened and closed the restaurant according to the procedures which would range from counting the safe and drawer to cleaning and setting up the location. I would train and mentor new employees to improve team performance all while keeping it exciting and fun.

When being on the register I managed returns, exchanges and refunds in accordance to the store policy. I also assisted customers by locating products and checking the stores system for merchandise at other sites and locations. As well as being in backroom preparing merchandise for the sales floor by pricing, organizing and or tagging.
