• United Way Organized “Stop the Growl” project for kids living in low income or food desert environments; “Reading Buddies” project for homeless and foster kids to assist in reading interest and readiness.
• “Get Fit” Initiative 2012, Haynie Elementary, South Fulton Regional: Performed height and weight assessments for elementary students ages 7 & 8 for special designed workout programs.
• Physical Activity Health Initiative2012, Rivers Edge Elementary, Clayton County: Designed and instructed exercise activities for elementary students ages 7 & 8 years old.
• Student Personal Trainer 2013, Clayton State University: Performed risk assessment, pre and post test – cardio, strength, and flexibility, prescribed exercise program with nutrition assistance for client’s goal.
• Internship - Older Adult Fitness, Andrew Young Family YMCA: Instructed exercise classes for Older Adults with moderate to severe arthritis.
• Coordinated Approach To Child Health - CATCH Healthy Habits, Atlanta Regional Council – Carver YMCA: Intergenerational approach to improving child and older adult physical activity and nutrition.Instructed elementary students’ ages 7 – 8 years old with developing healthy eating and healthy activity habits.
• Fit For Life, Coca Cola Corp. / YMCA: Performed pre and posttest for elementary students ages 5 -8 years old for physical fitness program – height, weight, 6 minutes cardio test, 1- minute push up test. Observed program counselors for 24 weeks as a Quality Assurance monitor to ensure program activities were maintained.
