  • Member of US Army Futures Command Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC) Aviation and Missile Center (AvMC) Systems Readiness Directorate’s (SRD) Special Operations Aircraft Division (SOAD) with responsibility to provide systems engineering support for the MH-47G helicopter as well as performed duties as a Program Lead Manager for SPA.
  • Maintain continued safety and airworthiness of the MH-47G fleet of Special Operations Aircraft undergoing continued improvement by the Technology Applications Program Office. Provide technical expertise with airworthiness qualification for standard configurations and qualification for alterations/modifications to standard configurations. Offer the analysis, review, evaluation/recommendation, preparation, issuance, and contributions to the following: Airworthiness Releases, Contractor Flight Releases, Airworthiness Qualification Specifications and Plans, Airworthiness qualification substantiation reports, interim and final statements of airworthiness, Safety of flight reviews, design reviews, and Engineering Change Proposals.
  • Provide technical expertise for engineering testing of Critical Safety Items to include identifying support parts necessary to complete a test, analyze all parts that fail prematurely, and determine the root cause of failure. Perform design implementation and facilitate coordination of engineering activities for out-of-production aircraft systems and major items.
  • Provide technical expertise and engineering support to integrated logistics support engineering activities such as new equipment training, depot maintenance, logistics support analysis, and technical publications.
  • Review, evaluate, and propose necessary action to resolve Quality Deficiency Report problems and other reported field problems outlining potential design implications.
  • Provide technical advice, engineering input, and message drafting for transmittal concerning accident investigation report recommendations, aircraft grounding actions, Safety-of-Flight messages, Aviation Safety Actions, Safety of Use, and Maintenance Information Messages.
  • Develop, review, or evaluate computer software documentation including Software Quality, Program Plans, Software Configuration Management Plans, and Software Development Plans.
  • Provide engineering analysis of technical documentation to support procurements. Maintain, update and track Air Worthiness Releases and related data.
  • Plan, facilitate, coordinate, recommend, and/or provide technical liaison to system design and engineering actions.
  • Provide technical expertise in the areas of technology integration and system engineering support consistent with research and development technology plans and programs.
  • Provide technical expertise for the development and implementation of plans, studies, briefings, letters of agreement, and memorandums of understanding related to co-production of U.S. weapon systems, subsystems, and selected major components.
