Summary

My passion for patient care has evolved throughout my journey from a Patient Care Technician to a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse and now a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) nurse. These experiences have strengthened my clinical judgment, attention to detail, and ability to provide compassionate care in fast-paced, high-acuity environments while building meaningful relationships with patients and families. Working in critical care has taught me the importance of individualized care and has inspired me to pursue a broader impact as I continue my education in a Doctor of Nursing Practice–Family Nurse Practitioner (DNP-FNP) program. While I value my critical care foundation, I have developed a strong interest in plastic surgery and dermatology because these specialties uniquely combine science, precision, and artistry while allowing providers to improve not only physical outcomes but also patients’ confidence and quality of life. I am eager to integrate my critical care experience, advanced education, and passion for aesthetics into a specialty where I can continue delivering compassionate, evidence-based care.
