Unit Description: 12-Bed Unit

Provide comprehensive care for critically ill surgical and trauma patients, including those with complex multi-system injuries, post-operative complications, and life-threatening conditions.

Manage advanced hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator support, vasoactive drips, invasive lines (central venous and arterial), and rapid interventions during clinical emergencies. Respond to high-acuity codes and trauma activations, demonstrating calm, precise, and effective interventions in emergent situations. Advocate for patients and families by providing education, emotional support, and culturally sensitive care in a diverse urban community.

Fast-paced ED with 50 Beds in a no-wait model

Provided rapid triage, assessment, and stabilization for patients with acute medical, surgical, trauma, and psychiatric emergencies. Administered emergency medications, IV therapies, and blood products while managing advanced airways and cardiac monitoring. Responded to codes and rapid responses with precise, effective interventions under pressure. Educated patients and families on discharge instructions and follow-up care to ensure safe transitions.

Unit description - 120 Beds

Supervised and supported nursing staff in providing high-quality care across multiple units, ensuring adherence to facility policies and state regulations. Oversaw daily staffing, assignments, and workflow to optimize efficiency and patient care delivery. Assisted in crisis management and complex clinical situations, providing hands-on support and guidance. Conducted performance evaluations, precepted new nurses, and provided ongoing mentorship to strengthen team performance. Communicated with interdisciplinary teams and families to coordinate care and resolve patient concerns.

Unit description - 196 beds

Delivered skilled nursing care for post-acute, rehabilitative, and long-term residents, including wound care, IV therapy, and medication administration. Monitored patient progress and collaborated with physicians, rehabilitation therapists, and families to develop and adjust individualized care plans. Educated patients and families on recovery goals, medication management, and discharge planning to promote safe transitions of care. Maintained accurate documentation and ensured compliance with regulatory and facility standards.

Unit description - 131 beds
