Demonstrate professional competence and vision:

• Identify needs and make recommendations for appropriate instructional materials and assessments that directly support and align with the EYFS Framework.
• Guide teaching staff in ensuring the consistent delivery and coordination of lessons.
• Collaborate with the principal & teachers to identify the instructional needs of students.
• Model effective teaching practice and delivery of curriculum, including using different or new technologies.

• Work with the principal and HR to create and implement the school’s professional development plan:

- Identify specific, measurable, and attainable benchmarks for teacher and student improvement.

- Facilitate training.

• Participate in the review of planning procedures and documentation including Ministry of Education and Higher Education circulars.
• Participate in the continued development of report cards.
• Participate in the report card writing and review process.
• Collaborate with the principal in drafting report card standards.
• Conduct admissions assessments for new students.
• Keep the school community informed about the curriculum and instructional program through a variety of means.
• Support in the development of effective collaborative teams.
• Assist with other mutually agreed upon tasks as assigned by the principal.
• Plan and prepare curriculum documents for each new academic year, eg. Curriculum map, event calendars, rubrics, assessments, action plans & termly goals.

• Stand in for absent teachers to plan and deliver lessons.

Early Years Teacher

• Contribute to the lesson and timetable planning process.
