In my current role, while leading our international teams, I also provide key training, feedback and analysis for various projects in Search Evaluation. I am a Lead for our Online Grocery team and overlook the accuracy of query tagging and evaluations. In addition to those roles, I have experience in Product Type Classification & E-Commerce Catalogs. On a daily basis, I collaborate directly with engineers and analytics team in order to improve search relevancy and add user-friendly features. Due to the fast paced work environment of our team, I stay organized, work efficiently and effectively at all times in order to meet all expectations and goals.

Search & Evalaution Analyst

  • Classifies the most appropriate Level 1 & Level 2 in Walmart's hierarchy for queries.
  • Working with Engineers and Catalog team to improve online customer shopping experience based on user intent.
  • Lead spot-checker for Online Grocery tagging team and Browse Path Classification. Created guidelines for these projects and multiple other evaluation tasks in Confluence.
  • Generates data into excel sheets of 10k queries for analysts to evaluate and tag in Online Grocery. I then spot-check these files upon team's completion.
  • Manages international team projects and provides project score, quality summary and statistics for VPs weekly.
  • Creates multiple Training/Golden Sets for new hires.
  • Spot-checks tagged queries from sets while categorizing and mapping it to most relevant Product Type based on existing catalog. Also actively making sure these are tagged consistently with previous batches in order to continue improving machine learning process.
  • Submits and monitors Jira Tickets and conducts weekly discussions with the tools team for each sprint.
