Work History

Taekwondo Instructor

Real Warrior International Taekwon-Do club
Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
2016.07 - Current

As a Taekwondo Instructor, I was responsible for teaching students of all ages and skill levels the techniques, discipline, and philosophy of Taekwondo. My role included developing and leading structured classes, from beginner white belts to advanced black belts, ensuring that each student progressed safely and confidently.

I focused on building both physical skills—such as flexibility, strength, balance, and coordination—and mental qualities like focus, respect, perseverance, and self-control. I also organized belt tests, helped students prepare for competitions, and provided individualized feedback to support their growth.

In addition to instruction, I worked closely with parents and guardians to track student progress and maintain open communication. I often assisted with class planning, supervised junior instructors, and contributed to the overall development of the school's curriculum.

One of the most rewarding parts of the role was witnessing students gain confidence and transform over time—not just in their martial arts abilities but also in their personal development.
