QUOTES FROM PERFORMANCE REVIEWS

  • “Beth is patient with students and parents that find themselves communicating with our office, helping to understand their need and connect them with the correct resource, often reducing their anger and frustration with trying to reach resolution.”
  • “Beth helped to keep everything running smoothly and to help me in transitioning to a new position. Beth’s knowledge of the interaction of the VP of Business Services with the President’s office as well as preparing for Board meetings and other responsibilities of this position has been immensely helpful.”
  • “Beth attends to details well and strives to insure that everything is near perfect and ready for us when we arrive at a meeting or event. She does not need hand-holding or everything to be spelled out for her; you can give her a few key points about what you want and she will figure out the rest.”
  • “In this new year, Beth has stepped up her focus in response to SVP’s plea to direct reports to ‘elevate their game.’ She has done good research on best practices for assistants staffing Executives to lift out of their in-boxes work that can be handled expediently by the assistant, freeing up the Executive’s time to focus on matters of organizational concern. I admire the gusto with which Beth assumed the challenge to step up her game. Her research has already been widely shared with others who are similarly situated, looking to be better partners in the work.”
  • “Beth brings common sense and a logistics sensibility to all of her work. She can cut through complexities and help move colleagues through to simpler and yet accountable solutions. An example of this includes her work with Library colleagues to advance learning about the public works of art that have been crafted for the Columbus campus over time (Percent for Art). Relatedly, she successfully worked with the artist and college colleagues on the successful installation of the artwork that graces the Library exterior, in time for Taste the Future.”
