Office Manager
The Teresa Cowart Team
06.2025 - 12.2025
Within this role I was solely responsible for the daily operations of this large Real Estate Brokerage firm. I managed a staff of 11 in house along with 52 real estate agents.
I was responsible for ensuring the highest standard of oversight for each team member, from meeting the client for listings to the completion of each sale.
Daily tasks included managing all the appropriate APPS to ensure they were being used properly by all agents. When they were not updated, agents were dropped from the leads; therefore, I spent a vast amount of time helping update all statuses to keep this from happening.
I oversaw the Rental side of this business as well as the owner’s wedding venue. I booked all guests and ensured that all proper documents (ie: insurance, payments, etc) were documented and uploaded prior to all events. I also blocked out time each day to show the venue to prospective clients.
Any and all questions related to these entities were filtered through me, making me the point person if there was ever an issue.
I managed all timecards and expense reports for all team members.
Any outside vendors were also managed by me to ensure accuracy on all billing done for the office space or venue. Managing each process to completion was a great way to retain the same vendors for all closings.
Builder
Adams Homes
01.2022 - 01.2023
I began training with Adams Homes and was quickly given Treetops as my own subdivision. I was scheduled to build all 16 homes in the first phase, but it quickly changed as they learned the grading was going to take 8 months to obtain a passing Compaction Test. This prolonged the building process drastically, lowering the number of homes I was able to build in the timeframe.
I built in both Macon and Locust Grove and spent a lot of time meeting with each municipality to ensure the rest of the building process ran smoothly.
I built great relationships as the builder with each vendor. Personal relationships helped with scheduling and the billing process.
In my downtime with Adams Homes, I spent some time helping with the permitting process as they routinely sat for weeks at a time. I was able to streamline that process for the Production Manager at the time.
I was able to ensure that each home met the quality and construction standards put forth by Adams Homes.
I successfully managed the costs from the initial scope of work to the final CO.
I managed both the outside inspections as well as the municipality, both in Lovejoy and Macon.
