Accomplishments

  • Guerry Award for outstanding performance while in the position of Crime Scene
    Investigator 2014. Each year, law enforcement officers from agencies in the County of
    Santa Barbara are honored for valor, skill in conflict resolution and outstanding overall
    performance. The Guerry award continues to be the most coveted and respected award an
    officer or deputy can receive in the county and each year members of the Guerry family,
    without fail, attend the ceremonies.
    • Recognized as employee of the month 2012 and quarter 2014.
    • Have had multiple latent print identification hits in CAL ID while in my current assignment.
    • I have trained many new officers while in the assignment of CSI in regards to evidence
    collection and handling as well as scene management.
    • I conducted a department wide training on education and awareness of the traumas in law
    enforcement and line of duty death notification and paperwork.
