  • Responsible for planning, developing and managing an Early Head Start program for 6 years including budgets, program reviews through FA1 & FA2
  • PTQ accreditation
  • Successfully moved the program from 4 full time/2 part time classrooms to 8 fulltime classrooms
  • Successfully completed the Annual non competitive grant, along with a Change of Scope, COLA & QI grants and eliminating a Locally Designed Options
  • Applied for and received funding from the United Way as well as several other smaller donations of goods to completed our new kitchen a Nursing room and new playgrounds
  • Developed the plan and funding to create a fulltime kitchen at our Marion location and eliminated the vending of food their
  • Raised wages from minimum wage for several positions
  • Successfully moved the program into the world of technology
  • Online monitoring, attendance, assessments and social media
  • Supported families and children's health by purchasing and training staff on the use of an OAE system and a Vision Screener for Infants & toddlers
  • Successfully navigated the COVID years and continued to put all families first and led the way with virtual meetings and story times with children & families
  • Continue to maintain 78-80 % of staff with more then 7 years with in our program.
