  • Joined U.S. Bank to assist in covering Traditional Trade for our Depository Financial Institutions (DFI) portfolio.
  • My role quickly changed from customer service -centric to business development. I was given the opportunity to cover approximately half of the DFI portfolio.
  • DFI names I was give coverage for were non-preferred names but I grew that business well over 50%.
  • I was additionally entrusted with business development for our direct clients in WI/IL/MI.
  • I then took over sole coverage of the DFI portfolio, as well as a/m WI, IL, and MI.
  • Drove incremental sales growth.
  • Took over Midwest CCB as well as full DFI
  • 2023: WI had 66% sales growth in 2023, IL/MI grew by 28%.
  • Brought on high-value DFI banks that contribured to growth targets
  • Worked with internal partners to exit a client from a DFI due to compliance concerns.
  • Worked with internal and external stakeholders to scale back DFI trade offerings to solely Import L/C and Standby L/C.
  • Worked with internal and external stakeholders to decision and act on retention or exits of existing trade clietns in CCB and CBB markets
