Additional Information

Architectural Design V, NYCHA Open Space Revitalization
Group Collaborative- Spring 2023
This project was in collaboration with NYCHA stakeholders and focused on a broader understanding by emphasizing the past, present, and potential patterns of NYCHA green space. The first phase of the research/study brought into dialogue historical descriptions, resident input, and
oral and visual documentation to create a more complete picture of the spaces to date. The second phase developed engagement, input, and design strategies to envision inclusive and diverse green spaces that are comfortable, beautiful, and of more significant environmental benefit to residents and the city. The end result is ecological, welcoming, maintainable, and would leverage design to build a more livable community.

Architectural Design IV, Residential Project
Individual- Fall 2021
This project created a design for a group of dwellings on a specific site in order to develop an environment conducive to family life and neighborliness that considers land, respects the texture of the urban fabric, and through its manipulation and control of both public and private spaces, and creates a strong architecture. It involved the design of both mid-block and corner units, each with site-specific issues to resolve. It also involved an extended public realm in the creation of a street wall and a shared rear yard landscape to engage the community.
