These different organizations, programs, and resources have intertwined to build me into a stronger leader, student, and creative. Each of these opportunities has allowed me to become a more developed person who is able to balance different areas of my life and still prioritize what is most important.
As the choir president I am not only an officer helping set up and organize activities, decorations, and rehearsals, but I am also the primary source of communication between directors and students. I help create and execute a vision for the choir room every season, I take attendance of varsity choir, run errands for directors and booster club, volunteer for every outside of school event I am available for and more. This has developed my abilities of communication, organization, and leadership.
Participating in daily rehearsals for 2 choirs currently. One for our large varsity choir and a small select chamber choir. This comes with a lot of practice time and dedication to getting better not only for myself, but for my choir as a whole.
Breakthrough Church is a church plant that I was asked to join as a co-leader of worship. This role has allowed me to develop my love for worship ministry and work on my skills of outreach when it comes to my beliefs. This opportunity has grown my confidence in my own abilities to lead others in worship.
Singing //playing guitar 1-2 Sundays a month
Leading worship for the youth group on Wednesdays (2025), running the rehearsals and making the set list as well as vocal lead.
Sophomore and Junior year, I was selected to be in my high school's varsity theatre program. This included hundreds of extra hours spent after/outside of school hours as well as working in a very fast-paced and competitive environment. I had to learn how to balance different areas of my life to prioritize academics, social activities, and other extracurriculars.
