Bridging the Gap
I had a brief gap in work history from 2017-2022. My husband was in the U.S. Army and we were moved out of the country for 2 years. During my time as a military spouse I was able to pursue classes towards my nursing degree as well as obtain a certificate in phlebotomy. I was not allowed to work in another country. Due to moving on such short notice, very frequently, I gained lots of experience with time management, functioning under stressful situations, and having to adapt quickly to new environments. I was also able to develop amazing communication skills due to a language barrier while living in another country. This experience has made me extremely adaptable, resilient, and capable of thriving in high-stress situations.
