Obtain a position that will allow me to use my knowledge and expertise to improve the achievement of schools, school districts and state initiatives. I would like to collaborate with Department personnel, school leaders, school districts, and educational stakeholders to help create and provide professional development, help implement school improvement activities statewide, and to strengthen the quality and variety of services available for students with disabilities.

• 2011-2013: NCSC CoP: Work alongside teacher leaders and administrators across the state to help implement and improve the CCSS for students with the most severe cognitive disabilities.
• 2011: Achievement Level Description Review Panelist: Review and revise the FSAA Performance Task and the FSAA Datafolio Achievement Level descriptors (ALD's). Draft, review, and discuss revisions needed for the current ALD to be meaningful for educators.
• 2012-2013: CoP Co teacher leader: help lead discussions for teachers and therapists across the Panhandle on best practices to implement Access Points using Massi's and Lassi's.
• 2013-2014: Palm CoP Teacher Leader for North Florida: Lead discussions for teachers and therapists across the Panhandle on best practices to implement Access Points using Massi's and Lassi's.
• 2013-2014: Teacher of the Year
• 2014 ATIA Presenter: Presenter at the Assistive Technology Industry Association conference
• 2016: FSAA Advisory Committee Member: Part of a small group whose focus is to improve assessments for students with the most severe cognitive disabilities.
• 2017: Datafolio Standard Setting Committee Member: determine, revise, and edit proposed Achievement Level standards for the state assessment.
• 2017: Datafolio Rangefinding Committee Member: Examine a representative set of student responses from the Datafolio in order to establish scoring guidelines.
• 2019: FSAA Performance Task Item Content and Bias Review Committee for Social Studies and ELA: Review test questions for bias. Revise and suggest edits for testing questions.
• 2020-2022: Writer for Project Access: worked with a small team of leaders to write and edit the Essential Understandings and ELA Element cards for Access Points.
• 2021-2023 Content Writer for Winsor Learning: Writing ELA content for curriculum company Winsor to create content for student with cognitive disabilities. Content is intended for inclusive settings for students with the most significant disabilities to participate alongside their peers.

• 2022-2023: Content Writer for Leon County Schools (Summer 2022 and Summer 2023 Office of ESE Instructional Supports)
• 2022-2023: Professional Development Content Writer for Florida Center for Interactive Media. (BEESS project)
• 2017-Present: Professional Learning Advocate: Advocate for Teacher and Paraprofessional training, disseminate training information. Help teachers with the recertification process. Organize trainings held on campus and manage documentation of certification points earned.
