As a private Duty Nurse, I took care of a developmentally disabled young lady who had had a kidney transplant. I checked her vital signs, gave her medications, fed her and gave incontinent care. As a Home Care RN, i made initial visits, including physical assessment, health history, medication history, developed a care plan and assigned a Nursing Assistant when needed. I also made routine visits, monitoring vital signs, blood sugar levels, drew blood for ordered tests, did wound care, tube feedings, contacted the patient's doctor, lab, pharmacy, and Home Care office.

Did initial Nursing Assessment upon patient's admission to the hospital, obtained orders from the physician, monitored vital signs, administered medication. started IV infusions, administered Chemotherapy, blood transfusions, IV medications ordered by physician, drew blood specimens. Administered emergency care when needed.

Monitored patient's condition, vital signs, safety, did admission nursing assessment, administered oral medications, IM, Subcutaneous, and Intravenous medications ordered by the Physician. Gave treatments and wound care, tube feedings, gave blood transfusions. Started IVs.
