Work closely with collaborating physician to coordinate care as needed. As only 1 of 4 Suboxone waivered providers, I have had the opportunity to work with patients diagnosed with opioid dependence. I also have experience diagnosing substance use disorders and providing MAT services.

  • Clinical Practicum was completed at various locations at the Ozark Center.  Completed 260 hours at an adult outpatient clinic and through a substance treatment program. Completed 50 hours at inpatient/crisis, 100 hours with the pediatric population and 100 hours with the geriatric population.  Completed 100 individual therapy hours and 50 hours of group therapy hours.  Clinical hours completed with both physicians and nurse practitioners. Completed full initial psychiatric evaluations, resulting in development of initial diagnosis and treatment plan.  Provided evidence-based research to support treatment decisions.  Worked collaboratively with other members of the treatment team.  Participated in individual and group therapy.  Completed appropriate documentation for each client.
