Managed care policies and procedures on an acute behavioral unit . Supervise and orient new staff.

• August 2014-October 2019: West Surburban Medical Center, Medical / Surgical / orthopedic units. Management of assigned patients and implementation of care. Patient education and liaison with other disciplines to provide teaching and discharge planning for post operative patients. (2010 contract assignments at Weiss Hospital, Good Sams’ on the behavioural units)
• During 1999-2001 Contract assignments at Illinois Masonic Hospital in Chicago, on the Behavioral Health unit, the HIV Medical/ Surgical units. Cancer center, where I performed clerical duties scheduled appointments and follow ups. Gastroenterology lab, IV insertions and infusions and post procedural monitoring in Recovery.

• Managed care and delegation of work on a 20 bedded rehab unit, for post surgical orthopedic and medical patients. Administration of IV medication, Tracheotomy, G tube and Central line care. Teaching and discharge planning.

• Provide direct care for patients at home which include admission assessment, implementation of treatment plan, wound care, teach and demonstrate to patient and family about infusion of IV medication to patient. Lab draw for INR monitoring and relay critic results, in post orthopedic patients. Vital signs monitoring and teaching about medications. Liaise with Primary Care Physician in patient treatment plan.

• Contractual assignments on the orthopedic and Medical /Surgical units of Presence St Joseph in Joliet, Presence St Mary's in Aurora, Central DuPage Hospital. Provision of post operative care, teaching and assist with therapies.
• 2009-2011 October through March: Administered influenza vaccines to employees at businesses in Chicago.

• Managed care on a 44 bedded unit, with patients with chronic illnesses. Tracheostomy and G Tube Care. Assist individuals, to maximize their functioning skills. Assess implement and evaluate plan of care to achieve outcomes.

• Admission and management of patients with schizo affective disorders, anxiety and depression and formulation and Implementation of treatment programs.
• Care of mothers with post partum depression with their babies.
