Current inspector on various waterline, sewer, storm, concrete and asphalt rehabilitation job sites.

Working for Arlington County and have been since 2020, through Actalent agency, under CDM Smith as senior inspector with.

• Monitoring several crews and submitting daily reports on their progress and notating any concerns.
• Rehabilitation work on Water, sewer, streets (WSS) related, ranging from waterline installations, to vault rehabilitation, service installation, sewer repair/installation, storm water repair/installation, concrete sidewalk, curb and gutter and handicap ramp installation as well as asphalt resurfacing.
• These duties include all general inspector requirements such as monitoring pollution prevention, maintenance of traffic standards, OSHA safety guidelines and acting as a liason between residents and the county.
• I coordinate with the county and construction managament team on a daily basis, keeping everyone in the loop and solving problems on site in real time, saving both time and money for residents, municipalities and contractors.
• Coordinating with the county and valve crew, scheduling waterline shut downs, connections and service swaps happen with as little complication as possible.
  Personally notifying thousands residents and businesses annually to inform them about upcoming shut downs and assisting in the scheduling of these shutdown to impact both residents and businesses as minimally as possible.

Projects include:

Glebe rd from Old Glebe to Little falls 36” PCCP WM slip lining/annular grouting and rehabilitation.
(Arlington county)

• Monitored all daily crew activities in regards to MOT, NPDES, Earthwork & excavation, backfill, density testing, safety, installation, tapping, pressure testing, and removal standards.
• Removal and rehabilitation of the existing 36” PCCP watermain.
• Cutting and capping of existing connections to existing PCCP watermain and removal of all abandoned fittings.
• Installing piers, cradles and supporting existing lines as necessary.
• Tie-ins to existing 36” PCCP WM with DIP & HDPE.
• Slip lining of approximately 1 mile of existing 36” PCCP WM and removal of sections of the damaged pipe.
• Verified adherence to all standards for fusing, testing, annular grouting and slip lining process of 34” HDPE WM through the existing 36” PCCP WM.
• Verified adherence to all specifications and details per plan. Including asphalt rehabilitation and patchwork.

Working with Arlington county, I have completed close to 100 construction projects in the civil construction discipline. Taking each project through all implementation and completion phases, while coordinating with residents, contractors and municipalities in regards to all aspects of design, execution and completion.

• Design of Water, Wastewater and Drainage Systems using Auto Cad. Finalized to operational phase for all projects. Responsible for all CEI inspections for the Company. Verifying inspection standards for MOT, NPDES, earthwork, roadway, utility, hydrostatic testing and waterline installation. Liaison for clientele, citizens and municipalities.
• Created and executed hundreds of detailed plans for liveable structures in the Aztec community within margate, FL.
• Performed site inspection on Civil constructions sites within the entirety of the civil construction discipline. Ranging through storm sewer, to sanitary sewer, watermain, excavation and backfill, drainage, landscaping, open trench, roadway, MOT, and contract submittal and execution.

Cypress creek sewer rehabilitation project.

• 31st street and Cypress Ave in Fort Lauderdale. Monitoring CCTV and flushing progress as well as verifying pay item requests. Worked with crews to keep them on track. Verified and logged progress of MOT, sewer manhole rehabilitation coating, injection foam, CIPP liner repairs, earthwork, asphalt milling, replacement and closeout status.

Sunny Isles A1A lighting project:

• Collins Ave and 178th street, Miami. Assisted in concrete sampling and testing as VT. Reviewed and monitored implementation of new lighting fixtures along A1A to replace standard FDOT lighting equipment, update pull boxes and meet ADA requirements.

Miami Beachwalk:

• A1A and 5th street, Miami. Monitored crew progress with implementation of a beautification project, in which a walkable path was added from 8th street to 5th street on A1A. This included lighting, earthwork, pavers and drainage systems for retention areas and NPDES pollution prevention standards.

Hard Rock Stadium bridges and tunnel addition:

• Turnpike road and Dan Marino Blvd (aka 199th street), Miami Gardens. Collected Earthwork density samples and submitted them to labs. Performed density testing with the Troxler nuclear gauge and entered them into density log book (EDR). Gathered all delivery tickets for structures and materials delivered to site.
• Attended regular progress meetings. Assisted in offering solutions to potential and ongoing issues. Monitored and verified installation and progress of drainage, irrigation, earthwork, exfiltration, sidewalks, detectable warnings, pull boxes, MSE walls and bridge piles. Monitored tree relocation, removal and updated tree matrix. Assured adherence to NPDES, MOT and FDOT standards.

Victoria park watermain improvements:

• Victoria park development, Fort Lauderdale Florida.
• Inspector for Victoria park portion of the "Go big, go fast initiative". Part of A 1/4 Billion dollar infrastructure improvement of waterline and roadway services throughout the victoria park residence. Monitoring all aspects of Drilling, watermain pipe bursting, trenching, excavation, backfilling, installation and waterline testing methods as well as complete rodway milling and resurfacing operations and all restoration work afterwards, including tracking sheets and punchlists for final walkthrough.

Florida Turnpike ITS & DMS improvements and replacements:

• Florida's turnpike from Dade county through Broward county.
• Inspected the installation and replacement of ITS (Intelligent transportation systems) and DMS (Dynamic message signs) along the turnpike, including cabinets, pull boxes, conduits, gravity walls, forms, concrete, posts, signs & guardrails. As well as monitoring earthwork, compaction and sampling of concrete and earthwork.

Established constant on site presence and verified adherence to all specifications and details while assuring crews maintained performance. Increasing high quality production and maintaining specified contract deadlines and cost estimates.

• 27 Bar: Ft Lauderdale. Exfiltration, grade and landscaping inspections.
• Pompano Farmers Market : Excavation and Subgrade inspections.
• City Vista : Pompano beach. Subgrade, drainage lamping and Sidewalk form inspections.
• Downtown Davie Student Housing: Roadway, water and sewer inspections.
• Lauderdale Marine Center: Ft. Lauderdale. Subgrade, asphalt, Exfiltration and sidewalk form inspections.
• Hallandale Fire Dept: Hydrostatic testing and waterline installation inspections.
• Port Everglades: Ft. Lauderdale. Excavation and drainage inspections.
• My storage Bin: Pompano beach. Subgrade, forms, drainage, water, sanitary sewer, hydrostatic, asphalt, landscaping, concrete and grade inspections.
• Woodmont Country Club: Tamarac. Excavation and earthwork monitoring.
• Toshiba Business Solutions: Pompano. Grade, landscaping and sanitary sewer inspection.
• Hillsboro mile roadway Improvements: on Hillsboro Blvd and A1A. Verified proper striping, signage and ADA requirements were followed.

Aztec RV resort: Margate, FL.

• Created hundreds of detailed designs for lot owners at Aztec RV report for livable structures, including full utility design, risers and details. Assisted with submittal process to municipalities.
• Met with clients to review and update drawings as necessary and maintained client relationships. Designed templates and procedures to help streamline design and project completion, submittal and coordination process with clients, contractors and municipalities.
• Margate roadway infrastructure bond project: Full inspection of Asphalt improvements. Measuring tack and asphalt spread rate and temperature via hot in place, asphalt recycling method. Monitoring and collecting tickets. Creating detailed inspection reports as required.

Rio Rancho Utility, 3D location project: Rio Rancho, New Mexico.

• Created 3D models of existing utility lines via Autocad, exported to 3D studio Max for 7 miles of underground utilities, to map out potential conflicts before excavation processes began.
• Created detailed 3D, virtual fly through program with interactive capability and Voice over information guide.

Milagro estates: Albuquerque, New Mexico.

• Assisted with design and drafting process of subdivisions, roadway, signage and striping plans.
• Assisted in various other minor projects from early drafting stage to completion

Performed installation work on watermain infrastructure projects while verificating installation standards and specifications.
