Relevant Experience

Connected with the Hispanic Youth Leadership Council at Johansen High School, in Modesto, to create a Love. Talk. Read. annual book drive. Collected over 600 books in the last two years. Donated to local elementary schools and to Dr. Roseberry Mc-Kibbin’s Love. Talk. Read. worldwide program that serves under-resourced areas.

Multicultural Experience

Speak and read fluent Spanish and in turn, I frequently interact with Spanish speaking individuals in the workplace. 


In the summer of 2024, I created and led a peer group for multilinguals in the Sacramento State Communication Sciences and Disorders program where we translated frequently used vocabulary and reports related to our field into other languages such as Spanish and Mandarin.


Working as an Infant Development Specialist, I have worked with families of various cultures and walks of life including Chinese, Indian, children on the Autism spectrum and with Down Syndrome.
