• Performs thorough assessment of patients and closely observes for any changes in health status
• Assess patients hemodynamic status before and after administration of cardiac medications
• Communicates effectively with the interdisciplinary team to facilitate patient care
• Efficiently manages the process of admitting and discharging new patients
• Provides individualized care to a culturally diverse patient population
• Delivers ongoing patient and family education on topics such as medication management, lifestyle adjustments, and pre/post operative care
• Precepting of new nurses
• Maintains a helpful attitude and readily assists team members
