About me
Hi my name is Bibiana Carrillo and I have a pet chameleon. That is my icebreaker! I have grown up in the valley since being born in Weslaco way back when in 2003. My professional goal is to contribute to our under-service community as a Speech Language Pathologist. To do so I am completely prepared to utterly devote myself to 2+ years of tunnel vision on pursuing my master's and and my CCCs. I feel myself to be a well-rounded person, on top of being a good student I pride myself on being a good family member. I am a deep lover and supporter of those around me and always work to make sure to care for others. This transfers over in all aspects of my life including in my work as a connection between the health field and the community as a pharmacy technician. As I work on providing sometimes life altering medications, I strive to do it with as much respect and attention to detail as possible, making sure to always make the patient feel heard and seen. In my home life I like to ground myself by being outside often and spending time with my canine companions and tending to my chameleon's cage environment and her well being. I am also an avid reader and enjoy exploring the underlings of humans and our connections to one another by looking at different outlooks of life. Books I would recommend would be: The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz, Karma by Sadhguru, Letting Go by David R. Hawkins, and Atlas of the Heart by Brené Brown.
