  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to design, develop, implement, and evaluate simulation scenarios.
  • Manage the day to day operations of the lab and annual budget.
  • Responsible for Coordinating simulated learning activities and other teaching-related activities with interdisciplinary team members.

  • Develop interdisciplinary simulation experiences such as, geriatric, pediatric, medical surgical, intensive care, mental health, labor and delivery, disaster simulation and in situ simulations.

  • Revamped the simulation lab from a 1:3 to 1:10 faculty to student ratio.
  • Maximized the hours from 3 hours per student to 125 hours for ADN program and 100 hours for PN program according to board of nursing regulations.
  • Facilitate an eight-hour multi simulation including EMS, LPN and RN students to create a solid foundation of each discipline and improve communication and patient safety.
  • Received Certification Healthcare Simulation Educator.
  • Designed expansion plan for simulation program.
