I hired into the Carrollton facility as a Chemical Operator. My work area was B-55 where I produced Anhydrous DMTC and methyltin intermediates for stabilizers.

After 8 months, I was promoted to shift supervisor where I was responsible for:

• All production areas during my shift, ensuring that each area was meeting expected cycle times.
• Assisting operators with troubleshooting process issues as they arose.
• Ensuring that staffing for the Carrollton facility was maintained at an adequate level and overtime goals for the plant were being met.

I spent 5 years in the role of shift supervisor before being promoted to Planning and Logistics Manager. My responsibilities include but were not limited to:

• Prepare production schedules for each production area of the plant.
• Monitor and ensure production is meeting the schedules and adapting the schedule to meet customer demands when potential issues arise.
• Assist Area Supervisors and Operations Manager by communicating overall demand and impacts of downtime of process areas.

• Owned and operated a private cable tv engineering and installation company. We provided apartment complexes and hotels with an alternative to traditional cable tv providers. I would visit customer's sites to determine the best cable system that would suit their individual needs. I would then present the customer with options based on these needs taking into account budget, needs and ROI. I would then oversee the projects engineering and installation. I organized weekly progress meetings with customer to provide project status.

• Oversaw business budget planning and administration, accounting functions, purchasing and bi-weekly payroll to handle financial needs.
• We provided energy metering systems for base housing units on military bases. This involved preparing a scope for the project including a material list, labor scope, travel and overall expenses with built in profit margin. I would present our proposal to a base housing panel that would include base housing manager, senior Non-commissioned and Commissioned officers. I would present the job scope, expected completion time and overall budget for the projects. I would also be the lead point of contact on all projects, answering any questions the customer had along with resolving any issues that would arise.

• Provided leadership to technicians and managed day-to-day operations, distributing work assignments, tracking work status and resolving issues.
• Lead cable television technician for approximately 150 miles of cable plant. Performed semi annual preventative maintenance on the system. I was responsbile for all fiber optic splicing and mainline construction. Routinely assisted other technicians with resolving cable television distribution issues.

• Conducted thorough tests and inspections of gear, equipment and tools to stay ready for every type of fire.
• Laid and connected hoses, held nozzles and directed water streams as part of fire suppression activities at active scenes.
• Administered first aid and conducted emergent response management.
• Led team in fighting fires and exercised considerable judgment in deciding best way to extinguish based on type of fuel and environment.
• Meritoriously promoted to Corporal, this was an interview process with senior Marine Corps enlisted and officers.
