  • As a 186 Air Refueling Wing Crew Chief Technician, I am everyday on the job supervising and steadily learning about the KC-135R aircraft
  • Daily tasks include various inspections, servicing, launching and recovering, repairing, and making updated modifications to the aircrafts.

Military Personal Appropriation - MPA

  • While on MPA orders, I was the lead crew chief/ Operation Leader and commanded over 18 individuals as we deployed around the world
  • Our missions ranged from making sure personal made it home with illnesses, making sure certain aircrafts made it across seas with different flying issues, and some missions included presidential matters
  • While on the MPA orders, learned many leadership abilities and how to handle a team on the road.

  • In Mildenhall, UK, I assisted with an undermanned active-duty base for over 12 months non-consecutively
  • The base's name is Mildenhall Royal Air Force Base and I have gained a multitude of knowledge on aircraft maintenance and how to service the KC-135R, KC-135T, and KC-135R with MRPS (Modular Reconnaissance Pod System)
  • While in England, I learned different strategies for teamwork
  • For example, I learned how long certain task should take on a jet and also which personality types would work together to get a task done proficiently.

  • 08/2014, Aerospace Maintenance Apprentice (C-135), Shepperd Air Force Base, Texas, At Shepperd Air Force Base in Texas I attended a technical school for aerospace maintenance. While in school, I developed the basic knowledge for operations of an aircraft and how to have a mechanical mindset. With this technical school, I began my journey as an aircraft mechanic.
  • 03/2017 - 04/2017, Airman Leadership School - ALS, In Airman Leadership School I was taught how to evaluate airman and establish a common ground for them to create long- and short-term goals. Also, with this school I was given tips on how to communicate appropriately in order to get understanding. Lastly, one of the most important items I learned in airman leadership school was how to be a better leader than the previous generations, which is ultimately communication.
  • 03/2022, Non-Commissioned Officer Academy - NCOA, The Non-Commissioned Officer Academy Course is advancing training that I took personally online. This course gave me the knowledge of what culture is and how to approach situations with a broader perspective. This course also guided me through problem solving and finding the best way to deal with issues on any level. Most importantly, NCOA drove home how important each mission is and how to be able to navigate through each mission with understanding.
