  • Improved client well-being by providing personalized and compassionate in-home care services.
  • Enhanced quality of life for clients through attentive assistance with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Ensured a safe and clean home environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, vacuuming, and dusting.
  • Promoted client independence by encouraging participation in self-care tasks and engaging in stimulating conversations.
  • My client was my mother. She was diagnosed with vascular dementia. I took over responsibilities to make sure she could spend the rest of her life much better than she had lived previous. I took care of transportation, feeding, medications, personal hygiene, and medications...paying strict attention to minute details so I could report issues and concerns effectively to medical professionals.

Handyman Helper

  • Assisted in completing repair projects by providing timely and efficient support to the lead handyman.
  • Improved client satisfaction by maintaining a clean and organized workspace during and after job completion.
  • Saved clients time and money by identifying and addressing potential maintenance issues before they escalated.
  • Performed basic electrical tasks, contributing to the successful completion of various repair projects.

They had to complete 2,800 road miles behind the wheel and have my approval before returning to Amherst for skills testing and potentially getting their own trucks. I had 1 failure due to a medical condition he did not reveal (night blind).

Foundry Supervisor

Intermet

  • Evaluated incoming materials for quality and amounts ordered.
  • Collaborated with other leaders and executives to direct workflow and support operations.
  • Basically, I worked hand in hand with Intermet's metallurgist to build the new foundry from the ground up. He taught me about the various additive metals, how to use them, how to maintain them, and also safety protocols while using them. He assisted me in writing all manuals and job descriptions. I invented tools to make the job work, handed the prints over to the maintenance department to create them, then tested them and revised them.
  • The reason for the short time span, honestly, we tried to get the Autoworkers Union in to bargain for us. At one point, we were working 70 hour weeks. The entire third shift (my shift) was fired. Lawsuits were filed in federal court. Mine did not go through so I cut ties and found my next job.
