Motivated and dependable. I enjoy hard work and making people's day. I work to enjoy other's enjoyment. Serving others to serve the one true God.
It started when a lady from my church asked me to maintain six of her properties by doing yard work and seasonal upkeep. I have also helped dozens more since then with the maintenance of their yards. This has taught me how to work around difficult situations and find a way to fix unexpected problems.
I regularly attend church at King's Church in Lexington, KY. Some Sundays and on Wednesday nights I will lead a large group of children from 3-12. Teaching them lesson plans and guiding them to do what is right. Doing this has poured into all other areas of my life and made me a better leader even with peers.
I helped run a three-week Multi-Camera class by setting up/taking down stages, acting, and hiring others to make the projects for students possible. This taught me how to improvise in situations and take the lead when others aren't feeling up to it.
While working at the Movie Tavern, I made and served food. The biggest skill I learned was how to work with the public. I dealt with hundreds of people throughout the day; some were very rude, but I learned how to diffuse conflict with strangers and create a solution in the heat of the moment.
While working at Freshie's, I first learned how to deal with a high-stress environment. Working there was also where I learned how to work quickly and cleanly. There were many things that needed to be done in what felt like seconds and it is at Freshie's where I first learned this skill.
