I have been working in the oil and gas industry since 1996. I have worked from worm corner on a daylight pulling unit wrenching 1/4" to 3/4" rods all the way up to drilling consultant. I can actually say that I enjoy what I do. I have worked over 16 years on the directional side of drilling. I have been in multiple supervisor positions. I pay close attention to detail, and I use all the resources that I have available to reach the absolute best result possible. I believe that safety is an attitude and not just something that is talked about. I believe that teamwork is more than one person giving orders, and no one person can do everything on their own. I view myself as a leader and a student. I feel that I have a lot of knowledge to share and I have even more to learn. I have worked with some of the most complex offshore drilling machinery in the world and I have also been on some of the most basic equipment that money can buy. Through all of my experiences I have found that one thing never changes, people make all the difference. An old rig can be your best rig, and a new rig can be the most unsafe. Personnel follows good examples; I truly believe that I am that good example that you're looking for.
