- As an Aircraft Structures Technician we performs aircraft structural inspections, repairs and modification activities in accordance with Manufacturer's Manuals, Approved Data, blueprints and engineering drawing the requirements set forth by the Company.
- I Perform inspections,Damage evaluation and assessments, fabricate, assemble, install, and repair aircraft sheet metal and composite structural parts.
- I Restore or repair defects using unique aircraft fastening hardware, ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
- I perform and approve major/complex structural repairs and modifications, tasks and defect rectification of aircraft as per company procedures and within associated regulatory approvals.
- Read blueprints and schematics correctly to complete jobs accurately and prevent rework.
- Collaborated with engineering teams to implement design modifications for improved aircraft performance and longevity.
- Conduct corrosion control inspections, repair and treat the materials;
- Document discrepancies and raise task cards in accordance with company policies & procedures and Customer's Manuals as required.
- I Determine the proper corrective actions required to rectify discrepancies.
- I Document maintenance actions in accordance with company policies & Procedures and customer Js Manuals as required.
- I Complete a variety offorms, tags and documents in accordance with company policies & Procedures and Customer's Manuals as required.
- I Identify parts required and raise purchase Requests.
- I Work in close coordination with the Project and Trade Supervisors to ensure that the work is performed within the scheduled time frame.
