Working as a technical project manager to support and implement Wynsure (a group insurance PAS) for Aflac.

• Articulated and streamlined various project implementation processes; sprint backlog review process, data-fix development and deployment process, code review process, dry-run process, hotfix build process, process to run scripts and batches using pipeline etc to bring consistency across multiple scrum teams.
• Implemented a minor release process to have the capability to push changes into PROD every weekend instead of delivering it once in four weeks.
• Enforced a release process to do continuous deployment to an integrated environment reducing the release time by 50%.
• Spearheaded a team focused on performance and stability with members from product and project to fix the performance issues in PROD and bring scalability to the system.
• Managing a migration blocker team to deliver new features/migration blockers to ensure successful migration of legacy data into Wynsure.

Involved in overseeing the implementation of Socotra’s PAS for multiple MGAs and carriers.

• Successfully implemented a Homeowners product for an MGA in less than 90 days and involved in the implementation of a Commercial package product and BOP for other clients.
• Managed multiple client implementations in a SaaS/cloud computing environment.
• Led the project delivery team to ensure the successful implementation of the PAS.
• Maintained key project artifacts; biweekly status reports, project plans, customer dashboards, etc to reflect the status of the implementation and shared it with the client stakeholders and internal executive team.
• Created and refined various project implementation processes; processes to onboard a new customer, tracking the overall health of the project, contracts & addendums for integrations, post-implementation survey, SOC audit process, etc to name a few
• Created multiple knowledge base articles to share knowledge among the team.

Worked with Wynsure, a leading group insurance solution in a large-scale transformation project for Aflac.

• Worked as a product owner for one of our client’s cross-functional teams involved in the transformation project.
• Key responsibilities include release planning, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and product backlog grooming to name a few.
• Involved with other product owners on the ecosystem level to prioritize the product backlog to deliver an MVI with each release.
• Vested in all the scrum ceremonies to make sure that the sprint is progressing as expected and removed any blockers/impediments.
• Responsible for reviewing and accepting the sprint backlog items during the sprint.
• Successfully delivered a high-value product increment in every sprint per the plan and achieved a 98% SLA on client acceptance.
• Implemented API testing automation process to minimize manual intervention and enabled faster turn-around time.
• Streamlined the product backlog grooming process which resulted in a 20% decrease in backlog processing time.

Led Wynsure project as a delivery lead for CUNA Mutual Group to deliver a solution for credit unions in multiple geographies in the Caribbean.

• Worked as a delivery lead to make sure all the deliveries from our offshore component were delivered on time.
• Key responsibilities include business review, requirements gathering, offshore delivery, code reviews, and development to name a few.
• Successfully implemented the project in multiple iterations and played a key role to oversee different aspects of the project, code deliveries, release planning, sprint reviews, coordination with SMEs, etc.

Led Wynsure project as a technical lead and delivered an Individual Life, Health, and Group Life product in multiple iterations for LifeMap.

• Played a key role as an onsite-offshore coordinator and led a team of six developers based out of our CoE in India to implement solutions.
• Completed an entire SDLC for all the business requirements and followed the agile methodology to deliver an Individual Life, Health, and Group Life product in four phases along with migrated legacy data.
• Outsourced an idea to implement an onsite-offshore component to enhance productivity by leveraging two different time zones (CST and IST) to effectively complete the project.
• With effective resource planning and leading an offshore team delivered four phases of high-priority projects to a flagship client.
