The main focus is on supporting the organization's strategic plans and goals for the present and future.
·In my role, I provide comprehensive financial and strategic analyses and support to the service line management Leaders, including executives, physicians, clinicians, and executive C-suite team members. I utilize all system financial information systems, including core transaction systems, decision support systems, and PC financial application tools. I offer finance and planning support to Executive Owners and Service Line Leadership in developing strategic initiatives, capital planning, operational budgeting, and productivity management. I conduct feasibility studies using external benchmarks, market data demand projections, and scenario building. I provide detailed outlines of the specified economic benefits or return on investment for new and existing businesses/services for Beebe and present results to executive-level team members in polished, professional presentations. I develop key measures of success associated with financial analyses and ROIs to ensure that the goals outlined in the new/existing business and service line assumptions are both measurable and attainable. I assist users of financial information in applying cause and effect analysis to their service line operations and advise directors on opportunities for performance, productivity, and financial improvement within their service lines.
·I developed tools and processes to monitor performance improvement initiatives and provide related education to ensure consistent understanding and use across the organization. I create and deliver professional presentations to help users understand the economic and operational implications of these initiatives. Additionally, I present findings and recommendations to executives, senior management, performance improvement teams, quality review teams, and other stakeholders in a confident and professional manner.
· As a Resident Assistant, I collaborated closely with staff to help all residents on campus excel academically and personally. My goal was to develop a community where residents could fully engage with campus life and smoothly transition to college. To achieve this, I oversaw community meetings, one-on-one sessions, and events to promote engagement and community through recruitment methods like social media, flyers, posters, and word of mouth. I also organized activities to help build bonds between roommates and mediate conflicts to ensure mutual understanding and resolution.
·The job also requires me to assist in implementing and producing innovative ideas for COVID-19 protocols and university policies within the residence halls and on campus. If students do not follow these protocols, I must enforce the university policies, which may involve writing reports and documentation, followed by a meeting with university leadership and management. This could also involve a one-on-one conversation with the residents to help them explore ways to better adhere to the policies in place.
· As a Resident Assistant, I had the opportunity to collaborate closely with the staff and a Resident Hall Coordinator. Working alongside them, I was able to strengthen my teamwork, communication, and crisis management skills. This role also taught me how to adapt to emerging problems, collaborate with individuals with diverse skills, and manage various types of behaviors or issues, whether mental or physical. I participated in weekly staff meetings and bi-weekly one-on-one meetings with my supervisor, the Resident Hall Coordinator. Additionally, I underwent several types of training before the school year, including crisis management, health, wellness and safety, and technology training.
·As an Orientation Leader at the University of Delaware, I, along with a team of twenty students and two student coordinators, was responsible for overseeing 5,000 incoming first-year, transfer, and international students. In my role, I mentored groups of students through small group sessions, presentations, and icebreakers. Additionally, I worked with students' parents, families, and guests, answering their questions about the university and helping them understand how students can fit in and succeed in their college careers. I also organized and collaborated with my team to ensure we were effective leaders for the incoming students, undergoing extensive crisis management and public speaking training.
