• Course Description:
• This voluntary high-risk course prepares students to improve and maintain water skills to meet in-test & out-test skills for numerous Navy programs with swimming and water survival skills set components
• The 29 hours of instruction spread over 7 days are blended into the student's training
• These apprentice level skills in survival swimming, treading water, survival floating, abandon ship, auxiliary flotation devices, submerged/surface burning oil and rough water swimming are to be performed
• Instruction includes maintain survivability in the water and perform as a Lay Responder in an emergency situation.
