I started Square Six as an engineering shop and grew the business to over 25 employees and 2.6M in revenue. It has been a pleasure to lead the team at Square Six and provide solutions and services beyond just software development. At Square Six we had the pleasure of building products for startups and enterprise customers alike. I personally contributed to over 20 projects and oversaw the development, design, and deployment of many more.

• Taught Ethical Hacking and OS Security courses, providing instruction to up to 20 graduate students.
• Built relationships with students, mentoring on personal, professional and academic goals while providing coaching on effective study habits.
• Graded quizzes, tests, homework, and projects to provide students with timely academic progress information and feedback.
• Strengthened critical thinking skills in students through the incorporation of problem-based learning activities.

At Unto Creative, we design, develop, and implement systems from project inception through release, and support. We have worked with both large enterprises and small startups, and mostly focus on mobile/web design and development. For development, we choose to use the Xamarin platform to allow for faster cross-platform development.

Worked closely with clients, project managers, UX, and other stakeholders to ensure the development team executed mobile and web projects successfully. Conducted code reviews and advised on coding standard across multiple departments. Helped setup CI for mobile and web.

Created cross-platform mobile applications using the Xamairn framework. I\'ve worked with a variety of mobile technologies including, geolocation, data visualization, persistent storage (secure and non-secure), bluetooth (iBeacons, and MFi devices). I have worked on apps that range from phone-only single-orientation to multiple device idioms and orientation.Help to create continuous integration/deployment scripts to automate build, testing, and deployment.Used Security background to act as security Subject Matter Expert for projects requiring security consulting.

• Developed C# application that utilized MEF to allow for customized client plugins to be created on a per-customer basis. This application was used by in-house developers and Wal-Mart vendors to assist in the modular relay process where vendors work with Wal-Mart to make decisions on where to place products on shelves. This tool took time spent working on modular relay\'s from months down to weeks. Wal-Mart has also shown interest in this product for their own internal use.
  
• Worked on 3D Unity application to allow for an immersive walk through experience. This eliminated the need for vendors to set up actual shelves, and allowed for a rapid demonstration of various product layout.

• Enhanced existing mobile applications used by dock workers, drivers, and yard workers.
• I also worked on a project that assisted in staffing employees.
• I also mentored younger developers, as well as designed and documented projects for other developers to work on.
  

• Designed and develop mobile applications used by yard employees. This application gave a terminal more insight into where specific equipment was while at the terminal. It allowed supervisors to make better decision while assigning work to employees.

• Enhanced mobile applications (Windows Mobile, Java, and WAP) used by truck drivers and dock workers to assist in the freight movement process. Notable features include GPS tracking, custom phone dialer using TAPI to whitelist phone number complete with handsfree bluetooth implementation, and a signature pad where customers would sign for freight. These mobile device allowed the company to go paperless as specific locations.
  
• Created local caching for mobile apps, and re-designed app to handle a \'sometimes-connected\' state.
• Received bonus and promotion for work done on mobile development.
