Accomplishments
- Led entire software engineering department in construction of critical business project that was intended to become the new primary revenue channel for an already established company. Project was delivered on time and according to specs. Scope of work spanned 13 months, carried out by a distributed team of 10 engineers.
- Recruited, trained, and mentored a team of 12 software engineers during a high growth phase in the company. Accomplished this in the span of 3 months. All hires proved to be high performing and remained loyal employees for a long duration.
- Served as a technical owner and development lead of the companies most business critical application - a home grown customer relationship management(CRM) software application. This application contained the tools necessary to administer to all stages of our customer's life cycle, including a self servicing customer portal. Among other benefits, this application enabled the company to triple profit per customer and provide a richer customer experience.
- Designed and built a feature rich DW/BI from the ground up. This tool was used daily by members of all tiers of the company, including executives, to assist them in making informed decisions and better perform their duties. This custom platform brought the power of business intelligence to the company.
- Architected a lead acceptance API web service used to receive healthcare patient information from 3rd party lead generation business partners and then kickstart the sales process. This application has been recognized as the industry leader in producing the fastest lead contact response times, and increased conversion rates by 35%.
