I have had a lot of experience in different fields and have always held myself to a higer standard when it comes to working for others or even on my own projects. I love new opportunities and learning along the way. I am an extremely hard worker and dedicated to doing things correctly. I am very reliable and teachable when it comes to things that I am interested in.
I worked for the Scott City public works throughout my senior year and through this last summer. During my time there I learned a few different things. I filled potholes with asphalt, I did some work with sewer and water lines, I worked on the trucks and equipment there, and I learned how to use a variety of equipment.
I only worked during the summers and breaks throughout these three years during high school, as well as any day that I was free and he needed help. During the time that I worked for Scott, I did a number of different things. I know how to do dirt work, I can set and hang boards to height, I know how to cut and lay rebar as well as tie it. I can rake, screet, and finish concrete. I had a lot of experience with a lot of different tools throughout my time working with them and i carry that knowledge with me now. This got also taught me a lot about hard work and the responsibilities that come along with having a manual labor job.
By May I will have My OSHA 10, I have my Core certifications on NCCER as well as my Carpentry certification.
