Alec Perrin has spent the majority of their life hooking words together and trying to scratch a constant itch for visceral description. Now, somewhat sure of themself as a human being, they use their work to explore themes of mental health, community, and their queer identity. They grew up in Santa Fe, but you can find them living and writing in Los Angeles.
Authored short story, "Vigilants of the Wave", later published by audio zine podcast, Dance Cry Dance Break.
Continued mentorship and workshop with educator Mitch Carver since 2021. Weekly calls to share and review each other's writing and hold accountability for deadlines. Mitch has helped them expand their interest in short form writing and use it to explore vulnerability and identity.
