Serving as both Lead Nurse and Clinical Nurse within an Interventional Endoscopy Unit. Expertise encompasses standard procedures such as EGDs and colonoscopies, as well as advanced interventional techniques, including Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS), Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), Transoral Incisionless Fundoplication (TIF), Transoral Outlet Reduction (TORe), and Peroral Endoscopic Myotomy (POEM). Additionally, highly skilled in esophageal motility studies and ambulatory pH testing, providing advanced diagnostic and therapeutic care.
Primarily responsible for endoscopy nursing, performing procedures including EGDs, colonoscopies, bronchoscopies, Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEEs), and Cardioversions (CVs). Contributed to the development and setup of Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) services for depression treatment. Provided moderate sedation for plastic surgery cases. Additionally, served as part of the hospital’s PICC line insertion team when not engaged in endoscopy cases.
