  • I am a Shop Floor Production Activity Controller (PAC) in the Avionics branch of the Fleet Readiness Center and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
  • As a Production Activity Controller, I am directly responsible for coordinating and reporting manpower constraints, work center downtime or reprocessing requirements which may jeopardize the execution of the Master Production Schedule (MPS).
  • I am responsible for the overall operation of the control center and shop operations, and work closely and communicate with the Hub Schedulers, work-center supervisors and artisans in order to stay informed and keep them informed.
  • I identify and explain production delays that may affect turn-around-time and take corrective action where necessary and maintain an open line of communication with PACs and Hub Schedulers from supporting shops to identify possible shortfalls or bottlenecks in the repair process.
  • Initiated appropriate action to identify proper work center information whenever corrective action is required with the Process Engineer.
  • I continually use our Depot Maintenance System MRP II, CONOPS, MTO, CRS and workload control systems (WCS) to monitor the work center and to process required paperwork and coordinates with the Production Activity Controller, the availability of technical data, tools, and the actual receipt of work units to the work center.
