I was hired in as the opening manager. I was in charge of opening the store by turning all the equipment on and getting everything set up to start cooking. I made biscuits, coffee, and teas. I was in charge of counting tills to log into the cash drawers at the opening of the business day. I was in charge of running the shift and supervising the other employees on duty, making sure company policies were enforced, as well as making sure we gave our customers quick and friendly service. Along with these duties, I also jumped in where needed. I worked right alongside employees doing dishes, taking out trash, sweeping and mopping, and ran drive-thru and front counter registers, and stocking products to be ready for the next shift. I was also in charge of doing end of day paperwork and end of day procedures, including getting bank deposits ready and doing bank deposit drops. Most days I would have to run both registers, bag food, make drinks, collect payments, and expedite customer orders. this was due to short staffing issues. Even during these difficult shifts, I still maintained good customer satisfaction and quick service. I had a great repertoire with the customers, as many were regulars. I knew most by name as well as their food order. Many of the customers told me how great of a job I did, how lucky the company was to have me. I am excellent at customer service.
