BORYS MACIBURKO

Palm Beach,VIC

Summary

I am a Drama/Theatre and TOK educator (emeritus) with 24 years of experience in international schools in six countries. I have taught IBMYP Drama, IBDP Theatre, IGCSE Drama, IBDP TOK, IBCP PPS (Personal and Professional Skills) and ESL. I am semi-retired and devoting time to writing my memoirs about the extraordinary international and intercultural adventures that my teaching career has privileged me to experience. However, I often find myself bored and restless, missing the intellectual stimulation of teaching and the joy of being around kids. Teaching ages you…but it keeps you young! My retirement will continue to be filled with international travel and intercultural adventures. I currently have no anchors or commitments tying me to any one location, and…given the right opportunity to teach drama again…I can easily pack and be ready to jump on a plane at short notice.
