Responsibilities

• Compile and analyze all hedge positions vs. daily cash inventory
• Execute CIF purchases and sales for each commodity traded (yellow corn, yellow soybeans, soft red wheat, long grain rough rice) in the cash markets for all Bruce Oakley terminal assets
• Govern spreads in CME futures and options market, OTC markets, and CIF vs. domestic cash basis values, to identify most profitable return for cash and deferred positioning
• Analyze OTC markets to identify above-market hedging opportunities and controlling the risk on both sides of the trade with diversified options and cash-settled derivatives
• Assist energy desk and provide insight on allocating inventory hedges towards higher-valued energy derivatives
• Assist fertilizer desk on better utilizing cash settled securities via OTC's, and minimizing price-risk exposure in illiquid and volatile markets
