Summary

As Vice President of Business Development at Weidner, I began career as a territory manager, specializing in the sale of process instrumentation, valves, and control systems. Throughout my journey, I represented renowned companies such as ABB, Endress+Hauser, Siemens, and Badger, among others. I later transitioned into the role of Sales Manager, overseeing company-wide sales operations. Eventually, I became a partner, where I played a key role in developing two new divisions: Weidner Fire and Safety, and Weidner Service.

With expertise in customer engagement and data-driven decision-making, I successfully led market expansion efforts and secured long-term client partnerships, greatly improving profitability. My ability to foster team collaboration and manage relationships helped me achieve ambitious sales targets and drive significant business growth.

I am a proud father of six boys, three of whom are married, and a grandfather to seven wonderful grandchildren. They are the greatest joy in my life and my most rewarding accomplishment. Over the years, I’ve been deeply involved in their sporting activities, coaching baseball, basketball, and football. I’ve also served on the boards of youth leagues, including roles as president of both the Cal Ripkin Baseball and Ute Conference leagues.

As an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, I’ve held various teaching and leadership positions, which have greatly influenced my life’s direction and purpose.

Boating has been a passion of mine for over 25 years, with many cherished family vacations spent on Lake Powell, where we have a houseboat. The memories created there are truly priceless.

I’m also a long-time golf enthusiast and member of a country club. While I’d like to think I should be better at the game by now, golf is always a humbling experience. I love spending time outdoors, especially on the beach, walking and soaking up the sun.
