I feel it is more accurate to describe myself simply as a compassionate person who genuinely cares about the well being of others. I have dedicated my working life to showing empathy to people. My former job was titled simply as “Ambassador” for the emergency department of a local hospital. What I do, however, is not so simple. I am the gateway between the family members and their loved ones during some of the most trying and devastating times. For example, I am the one who hugs the neck of a mother after she has been told by the physician that her loved one has passed. This is just one of so many different scenarios that I was faced with daily. I do not illustrate this to brag, only to bring light and insight to my work. I feel like I will be an asset to your team. You may ask yourself, “What does Brad bring to the table?” I am confident to assure you that I am a hard worker, I am dedicated, I genuinely care about people, I have the knowledge and skills to be successful. All I am lacking is opportunity, which is what I am seeking. I appreciate you time and consideration. I look forward to discussing a career with you further. Please do not hesitate to contact me personally. Hardworking, highly motivated individual who excels in establishing a professional, yet personal relationship with patients so they do not feel like they are "just another patient". Try very hard to make them feel as comfortable as they can in sometimes the most uncomfortable of atmospheres. Important to make their family/friends feel the exact same way as well.
