PROJECT EXPERIENCE HIGHLIGHTS

Lake Air Towers – Design Build/GC, $752,000 Value, Project consisted of replacing existing domestic water booster pumps and entire domestic water piping system through the 10-story condominium. Responsible for subcontractors doing abatement, insulation, drywall and tile. The work had to be done without vacating any tenants and the system had to be operational when crews left each day. Project was bid with an expected profit margin of 10%, though negotiations with subcontractor and design changes the finished project brought a profit of 69%., Baylor Scott and White OR suite Air handler Replacement – Design Assist/GC, $683,000 Value, Project was to remove all existing equipment in the mechanical rooms. We replaced the equipment with 12 cold deck fans, 7 hot deck fans, and 9 make up air fans. The fans where cube fans in which I had to design the new support rack that not only held the fans but acted as an exterior wall with walk though doors. This project was done over 6 months and took place starting on Friday evenings and the system had to be fully functionally by noon on Sundays to allow hospital staff time for terminal clean before patients arrived on Mondays. Through change orders and design changes the total value of the project total $950,000., Grand Masonic Lodge of Texas – Design Build/GC, $2,128,000 Value, This project was unique as the building was built with 1947 and had never had an HVAC system. We installed hydronics and chilled water systems included boilers, RTU’s, all associated piping as well as a 400-ton chiller. Abatement, Drywall/Painting, custom fencing, and automated controls. The schedule of this project was fast paced and had a firm deadline due to their annual state meeting. The project was not only completed on time, but it was also completed at nearly 50% profit., Balcones Distillery – Design Assist/Subcontractor, $1,866,000 Value, This project was an expansion inside the existing facility and had to be completed without interrupting current distribution of their products.
