HVAC Technician

Sunset Heating & Cooling
2022.07 - 2022.09

Only worked at this company for a short time. this was a residential HVAC company only and was in Oregon .I was living in Kelso,Washington at the time with my daughters mom. To be entirely honest I hated doing residential HVAC service for that type of company due to them not being concerned with fixing units, but was more concerned with making sales of new equipment,or with sales of air quality equipment. I knew I didnt want to make that side of the HVAC industry a lifelong career and wanted to get back to doing refrigeration service. So at that time I explained that to my boss who understood my concerns and said if I ever needed a good reference hed be happy to give me one because in the over 2 months I worked there I was the only service tech who would take overtime and had never gotten a callback once. But as i said that company wasnt wanting to do complex repairs on units and would rather send a salesman to talk a customer into buying a new unit. But the time I did work there i performed normal residential HVAC troubleshooting and repairs of air conditioners, heat pumps, gas and electric heating's well as preventive maintenance on all the same type of units mentioned.
